Today was pretty busy. I watched a cute toddler for awhile and heard his mom tell about her life and recovery. In the afternoon, I helped sell jewelry (made by the residents) at a charity event and load/unload a bunch of donations. Oh and one lady is in the hospital having her baby so it’ll be fun when she gets back.
How are you getting on with the moms? Did they immediately trust you to watch their kid or did you build up a relationship first?
Most of them are just happy to get childcare, and at first they didn’t even know my name.
