Last week I met a professional hair stylist with Mrs.Baxley, She was my model. The stylist showed me how to do the fancy hair. She told me things about how she works with the clients and some of her experiments.

This is a makeup guide paper, they gave me these to practice at home so I can see what color match together. O(∩_∩)O
Last week was TJ prom, and I did Haizea and Annemarie’s hair and makeup. Haizea’s makeup was more natural look and Annemarie’s more dramatic. I used this opportunity to practice different kinds of makeup that I have been learning at Sephora.
I helped the salon peel these foil paper, the foil parer is for the customers dye their hair. It just easier to separate layers.
These couple days I’ve been learning different kinds of hair styles by myself. I was doing Haizea and Anemarie’s hair for prom, but I forgot to take some pictures of their hair. The TJ prom is coming, so I am doing their hair again, I won’t forget this time. At Sephora, I’ve learned a lot by watching the artists do custom’s makeup, and they have class once a week so I can stand there and watch. I bought a lot of new brushes and products to practice my own makeup everyday. One day my manager says my makeup’s skills are improving. (*^__^*) 
These couple days I have been learning how to dye hair with Khristal, she’s the one who am I shadowing. Mrs. Reynolds came to the salon and have her hair done with Khristal. So far, I learnt how to dye hair. For the online course that I have been taking at school, I learned couple hair styles by myself and practiced on my own mannequin. 
I went to two places these days, in the morning I went to Bella Gente Salon to shadowing a lady who works there, and watched her dying and cutting customers’ hair. After, I went to a makeup store called “Sephora”. Whenever people comes to try the products in the beauty studio and I can go watch the artists how to use the products and learn. I walked around the store and tried the samples they provides just kind of knowing what they have in the store, because If you want to learn how to put makeup on people’s face you got to know what products they have first.
My project is shadowing someone in a makeup store Sephora, and work with a lady in Bella Gente Salon to learn the hair styling. and taking the online courses about Cosmetology, because I am interest in Cosmetology. I will find some models to help me do better showing my work.
