The Fulton School
This week I’ve been at HNS Sports Group, where I’ll be spending the rest of my time. I picked up where I left off—working on the member spreadsheet. After finishing it, I went over it with the team and got some helpful feedback on how I could make it better. I also got to see how they actually use the spreadsheet, which was cool. Basically, they go through it and assign different team members to the people they think have the best chance of making a deal.
On Wednesday, I sat in on a sales team meeting, which was mostly just a check-in to see how everyone was doing. Today, I’ve been working on prospecting for Columbia and Springfield. I’ve been focusing more on Columbia since there haven’t been many leads there, but I’ve had a lot more luck finding stuff in Springfield.
Later today at 4:00 PM, I have a meeting with Tim, who I’ve been working with a lot, and also with Good Good Golf—a YouTube golf channel that’s planning a tournament in Texas. HNS is going to manage the event, and it’ll be cool to be part of those early planning conversations.
Overall, it’s been a solid week, and I’m learning more each day about how the sports industry works behind the scenes.
